• If availability of confirmed reservation is known by accessing the website of IRTCT, ticket can be booked immediately on-line and confirmation can be given to the client/passenger.
• Subject to availability of confirmed reservation even a few minutes before chart closing time, booking requests can be entertained and tickets can be booked.  This may not be possible in the cases of tickets purchased from the railway counters.
• Delivery of the tickets can be made within 30-45 minutes through e-mail. Passenger can download the ticket, take a print out and travel.
• Booking request can be entertained for the travel from anywhere to anywhere by rail, provided the request comes from the authorized person in clients office.  Tickets can be sent through e-mail to passenger’s e-mail id (under intimation to the authorized person at client’s office) to save the time and botheration both for the passenger/client and the travel agent.
• If availability under general quota is not there, e-ticket under Tatkal quota (subject to availability) can be booked and confirmation given to the client within 15 minutes.
• The above advantages help to a very great extent frequent rail travelers who take a decision to travel at a very short notice.  Similarly, when date of return journey cannot be decided due to exigencies of work, while on tour, request can be made once plan for the return journey is firmed up and the e-ticket, after booking, can be sent by e-mail to the passenger who can download the same, take a print out and travel.
• Many Corporate Companies have reduced their travel expenses by opting for travel by rail more (when last minute decisions are taken togood tour) than to go by air, as procurement as well as delivery of rail ticket has been possible at a very short notice with introduction of rail e-ticket/adding more number of special trains by railways.
